Michael Kiwanuka has announced a six-date UK tour for next spring, after each of the dates on his tour next month sold out.
The singer will tour in April and May, ending at London’s Royal Albert Hall on May 5 for his biggest headline show to date. Tickets for the new tour go on sale at 10am on Friday (September 30). Tickets will be non-transferable and limited to four per person.
Kiwanuka was recently nominated for the Hyundai Mercury Prize for his album ‘Love And Hate’, where it’s thought he was runner-up to eventual winner Skepta. Confirming Skepta as winner, Mercury judge Jarvis Cocker announced that “two black stars” had been in contention for the honour.
The singer is also nominated for Best Album and Best R&B/Soul Act at the MOBOs, which take place on November 4 at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro.
