The Atlanta trio's second album will arrive soon
Migos have announced the release date for their new album ‘Culture II’.
Last year, a profile of Atlanta record label Quality Control revealed the record had been pushed back from its original October release to this month.
Now, it has been confirmed that ‘Culture II’ will be available on January 26, via Quality Control/Motown/Capitol. It comes almost exactly one year after ‘Culture’, which was released on January 27, 2017.
Yesterday (January 15), Quavo shared a video on his Twitter page titled ‘CULTURE NATIONAL ANTHEM’, which included an excerpt of new music and footage of Martin Luther King, Jr..
The album will include the track ‘MotorSport’ which features Nicki Minaj and Cardi B, and ‘Stir Boy’, which was produced by Pharrell. A new single will be premiered on Zane Lowe’s Beats 1 show tomorrow (January 17). An official tracklisting has yet to be shared for the album.
Meanhiwle, Migos’ Offset proposed to Cardi B on stage last month. The artists were performing together at Power 99’s Powerhouse concert in Philadelphia when the rapper surprised his girlfriend with the proposal in front of the crowd.
Crouching down on the stage, Offset pulled out a box with an engagement ring in and asked Cardi: “You dig?” She accepted the ring, later posting photos of it on her Instagram page.
