The group were scheduled to play last night (June 1) but, according to a press release from Primavera, the band didn’t make their flight to Spain. The statement reads: “We regret to inform that Migos will not perform at Primavera Sound. The members of the band have missed their flight to Barcelona, and in spite of all the efforts of their representatives and the festival organisation, it has been impossible to find a solution in due time.”
“In their place we are pleased to announce that Skepta, the king of grime, joins the festival’s lineup. We thank his predisposition and commitment with our festival. Konnichiwa’s creator will unleash his beats and ultraspeedy rhymes flood on SEAT stage, at 23:45.”
However, Skepta never made it to the stage at Primavera. Last night he tweeted: “Delays at the airport. Rockstar lifestyle, might not make it”. Skepta reportedly did not perform last night though he did manage to land in Barcelona.
Delays at the airport.
Might not make it” 😕

Meanwhile, Drake and Migos have announced a joint tour. The two camps recently collaborated on Migos’ ‘Walk It Talk It’, which appears on ‘Culture II’. Now, they will hit the road for a mammoth 41-date tour, which a promotional poster calls “a hand-picked dream team”.
Primavera Sound festival runs from May 30 to June 2 at Parc Del Forum in Barcelona. Check out our report from the festival grounds here.
