It'll follow 2017's 'Culture' and 2018's 'Culture II' - both of which were released in the January of their respective release years
Quavo has confirmed that the third instalment in Migos‘ ‘Culture’ album series will be released in early 2019.
The Atlanta trap trio released their previous two studio albums – ‘Culture I’ and ‘Culture II’ – in January 2017 and January 2018 respectively. Both records topped the Billboard 200 in the US upon release, while ‘Culture II’ reached the number four position on the UK albums chart earlier this year.
Fresh from releasing his latest solo album ‘Quavo Huncho’, the group’s de facto leader has now confirmed that a third ‘Culture’ album could continue their release trend by arriving at the beginning of next year.
“We’ll be at the top of 2019,” the rapper told the Associated Press when queried about a possible release date for the next Migos project. “We’re going to hit them with ‘Culture III’.”
‘Culture III’ will be Migos’ fourth studio album. Their debut LP, ‘Yung Rich Nation’, was released back in July 2015.
Quavo also told the Associated Press that solo albums from his bandmates Takeoff and Offset are also in the works, with the former set to release his project soon. Quavo admitted, however, that he didn’t “know the exact [release] dates”.
Earlier this week, rapper and radio personality Joe Budden denied that he ran away from a confrontation with Offset and his entourage after the two recently met at a branch of the US book store Barnes & Noble.
