Migos’ Offset arrested for alleged gun possession

The rapper was arrested after being pulled over by police near Atlanta

Migos’ member Offset was arrested yesterday (July 20) after being pulled over by police just outside of Atlanta.

The rapper, whose real name is Kiari Cephus, was initially pulled over for changing lanes in his vehicle according to TMZ.

After a police search, police reportedly uncovered at least one weapon in his vehicle along with a small quantity of marijuana.

TMZ also reported that the rapper has been charged with two felonies – possession of a firearm by a felon and possession of a weapon during a crime and two misdemeanours – possession of marijuana and an improper lane change.

Details of the charges were also listed at Clayton County Court in Georgia.

In 2015, all members of Migos were charged with carrying a loaded gun on school property at Georgia Southern University.

Cyphus’ wife Cardi B gave birth to a girl only ten days ago.

It was recently announced that the couple had married in secret in October 2017. On her Twitter account, Cardi B also detailed the reasons behind the decision to keep it secret.

“There are so many moments that I share with the world and then there are moments that I want to keep for myself!”

She added: “Our relationship was so new breaking up and making up and we had a lot of growing up to do but we was so in love we didn’t want to lose each other…Well now since you lil nosey fucks know at least ya can stop saying I had a baby out of wedlock.”
