On ‘Huncho Dreams’, the rapper appears to suggest that he was romantically involved with Minaj, after she appeared to hint at their relationship on her own ‘Barbie Dreams’.
“She said I hurt her feelings 52 times”, he raps on the track – which is a reference to Minaj’s previous anger after it transpired that Cardi B also features on Migos track ‘MotorSports’.
“I love Quavo, and at the time, on Twitter, I explained how MotorSport’came about, and you know, people were saying that I was lying,” Nicki previously told Zane Lowe.
“So I texted Quavo and I said, ‘Hey, just, you know, could you back me up on this because I don’t want people to think I’m lying. What do I have to lie about? And he didn’t back me up…. He texted me, and he was like, ‘I would go on Twitter and back you up if you were my girl lol.’ And that hurt, because he’s somebody—I love him.”
‘Huncho Dreams’ also sees Quavo claiming that he “made her [Minaj] scream” after buying her Chanel handbags.
Is Quavo dissing Nicki or apologizing in Huncho Dreams? He better pick one, because the Kingdom wants all the smoke… pic.twitter.com/zE1aj85P6B

“Call up queen (Nicki) The queen can’t flex on a young bull (Flex) Made her scream (Scream) Chanel, I bought her two of ’em. You can check IG (Hey, IG) ‘Cause when she post, it go up (Go). Is she for keeps? (For keeps)”.
He later adds: “But I sniped yo ass, No Fefe I skeet skeet on your faces.”
Responding to the verse on Twitter, one fan wrote: “Is Quavo dissing Nicki or apologizing in Huncho Dreams? He better pick one, because the Kingdom wants all the smoke…”
Minaj is yet to directly respond to the verse. She released the video for ‘Barbie Dreams’ last month.
