Miles Kane announces 15-date UK and Ireland tour

Singer-songwriter will visit Blackpool, Buckley, Belfast, Brighton and more

Miles Kane has announced a 15-date tour of UK and Ireland to take place in March and April 2014.

The dates are revealed following Kane’s three hometown shows at Liverpool’s Eric’s over the weekend (December 6 and 7).

Thoughts of the tour will no doubt be comforting to Kane, who in October issued a video in which he says he doesn’t want to stop touring and compares playing live to being a child on Christmas morning.

Speaking at his headline show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton, Kane said: “At the moment I just really sort of don’t want to stop touring – I really enjoy it. It’s been the most fun, comfortable, enjoyable, ‘avin’ it, maddest tour ever, really.”

“It’s like a feeling on Christmas Eve that you’d have as a kid, and you’re in bed and you’re dead excited because you want it to be Christmas and open your presents.”

Kane, who released his second LP, ‘Don’t Forget Who You Are’, earlier this year, will also play two dates at London’s Finsbury Park in support of Arctic Monkeys on May 23 and 24.

Miles Kane will play:

Wolverhampton Wulfrun (March 14)
Blackpool Winter Gardens (15)
Warrington Parr Hall (17)
Buckley Trivoli (18)
York Barbican (19)
Edinburgh Picture House (21)
Lincoln Engine Shed (22)
