The pair performed the Idol track at the Las Vegas festival
Miley Cyrus performed ‘Rebel Yell’ with Billy Idol last night at the iHeartRadio Festival in Las Vegas.
The singer joined Idol during his four-song set, which included ‘Dancing With Myself’ ‘White Wedding’, ‘Flesh for Fantasy’ and ‘Rebel Yell’.
Cyrus emerged to perform the final track in a costume covered with references to Idol. Both her sunglasses and leather trousers were decorated with Idol’s name, whilst her leather jacket featured a large image of the young musician’s face.
Miley announces she was “singing with Billy fucking Idol,” as she came on-stage. She repeated the phrase at multiple intervals throughout the performance, before he added “Miley fucking Cyrus, everybody!” at the end of the show.
The pair walked down the catwalk-shaped stage together during Cyrus’s verse, before walking off-stage holding hands.
Cyrus first performed ‘Rebel Yell’ in 2012 at the VH1 Divas Concert in LA, where she also crowd-surfed.
The iHeartRadio Festival this weekend saw performances from Drake, Sia, U2, Sting, Britney Spears and others.
The ‘Bangerz’ star recently made headlines after she spoke out to urge Corey Feldman to ‘continue to make art’ after he became the victim of online trolls for his performance on The Today Show.
