Miley Cyrus says her boobs made Paul McCartney feel ‘uncomfortable’ – watch

Singer met the Beatles legend at this year's Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame ceremony

Miley Cyrus has described meeting Paul McCartney and making him uncomfortable by her revealing choice of clothing.

Cyrus appeared on US talk show Jimmy Kimmel Live on Wednesday night (August 26), sharing an anecdote with host Kimmel about meeting the former Beatle when she inducted Joan Jett into the Rock And Roll Hall Of Fame at a ceremony during April.

“I was talking to Paul McCartney and saw him not knowing how to talk to me,” Cyrus said. “It made me more comfortable because it made him more uncomfortable.”

She added, “Sometimes it’s a nice conversation icebreaker. You can be like ‘Stop staring at my tits!’ and the conversation just keeps going.”

Asked whether her father, country singer Billy Ray Cyrus, approves of her dress sense, Cyrus replied, “My dad would rather me have my tits out and be a good person than have a shirt on and be a bitch”.

Cyrus recently spoke out about the effects of her young life as the star of Disney show Hannah Montana, suggesting the demanding role may have had a strong impact on how she sees her body today.

Speaking to Marie Claire for the cover of their September issue, Cyrus said, “I was told for so long what a girl is supposed to be from being on that show.”

She continued, “I was made to look like someone that I wasn’t, which probably caused some body dysmorphia because I had been made pretty every day for so long, and then when I wasn’t on that show, it was like, who the fuck am I?”

Cyrus will host the MTV Music Video Awards in Los Angeles at the weekend.
