Miley Cyrus’ stolen Maserati car recovered by police

The vehicle was stolen from the singer's Los Angeles home on Friday (May 30) night

Miley Cyrus‘s stolen Maserati car has been recovered by police.

The car was taken when the singer’s Los Angeles home was recently burgled whilst she was on the European leg of her Bangerz tour. The Maserati Quattroporte sports car, jewellery and other pieces of property were taken from the singer’s North Hollywood residence. The Los Angeles Police Department said that no-one was at home when the crime was committed and that there are two suspects, a man and a woman.

The police have now recovered the vehicle in Simi Valley, which is 45 miles from Los Angeles. The car was found yesterday (June 2) afternoon. Lt Andy Neiman has said that the car is now being searched for evidence, reports BBC News.

Cyrus is still on the road in Europe, with her next gig set for Copenhagen on June 4. She returns to the UK to play the Capital FM Summertime Ball on June 21 at London’s Wembley Stadium. Cyrus then takes the tour back to North America for the rest of the summer.
