Miley Cyrus and The Flaming Lips share ‘My Sad Christmas Song’- listen

A seasonal incarnation of the Dead Petz project

Miley Cyrus and The Flaming Lips have posted a seasonal track from their ‘Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz’ project, entitled ‘My Sad Christmas Song’.

The track – which is accompanied by artwork in which Miley sits glumly dressed as an elf in the midst of a Christmas scene – was launched via both acts’ social media on Christmas Eve.

The collaboration ‘Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz’ released an album earlier this year and followed the album with an American tour which included Miley wearing a dildo on stage.

Last month,Cyrus attended an LGBT auction, where she licked a piano in an attempt to increase its valuation.

Having already received the Vanguard Award at the ceremony, Cyrus joined fellow musician Linda Perry to auction off a signed white grand piano, with the Cyrus-licked item eventually selling for $50,000 (£33,000).

Accepting the Vanguard Award for the work done by her Happy Hippie foundation, Cyrus told the audience: “I want all of you to know that I feel beyond grateful to be in a room full of so many people who care so much about others because unfortunately that is way too rare in the world that we live in today”.

“I’m thinking of tonight not as celebrating what we’ve already done but what we’re doing and what we’re going to do in the future.”
