A Miley Cyrus fan has been arrested after sneaking backstage during a recent live show and leaving the singer a note, documenting his actions via Twitter.
Eighteen year old Tucker Salvensen was detained by police on March 6 on suspicion of misdemeanour criminal trespassing after he walked into a restricted area backstage at the CenturyLink Center in Omaha, Nebraska when Cyrus brought her ‘Bangerz’ tour to the area.
The teenager contacted Cyrus via Twitter to alert her to the whereabouts of his handwritten note. Scroll down to see the tweet. A police report revealed by local news source KETV, showed that the note read: “I snuck back here I need to meet you. You have helped me so much your music has given me all the answers I was looking for when my heart got broke … we went through the same thing @ the same time … Miley I love you!!! Please let me meet you.”

Salvensen is reported to have told police after his arrest that he was of the belief that he had VIP access to the whole building, having purchased a pass from a truck driver on the tour. The fan missed the concert due to being arrested, but has already bought tickets to a later date on the tour.
Last month Cyrus was joined onstage by The Flaming Lips‘ Wayne Coyne and Steven Drozd during a show in Los Angeles (February 22). The singer was joined by two members of the Oklahoman band for her gig at LA’s Staples Center for a rendition of their classic song ‘Yoshimi Battles The Pink Robots Part 1’. Cyrus has previously covered ‘Hey Ya!’ by OutKast and Dolly Parton’s track ‘Jolene’ during her sets.
