Missy Elliott previews new Pharrell collaboration ‘WTF (Where They From)’ – listen

The single looks set to drop on November 13

Missy Elliott has previewed new music featuring Pharrell Williams.

The rapper/singer last released an album in 2005 in the form of ‘The Cookbook’ and a single back in 2012, more recently signalling a comeback with a Bestival appearance and Superbowl performance cameo with Katy Perry.

Elliot has now shared a snippet of her Pharrell collaboration – thought to be called ‘WTF (Where They From)’ – on ESPN’s ‘Monday Night Football’ halftime show.

According to the advert, the single will drop on November 13. Hear a preview below.

Pharrell Williams previously discussed working with Missy Elliott in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon.

Speaking about Elliott, Williams praised “the way her mind works”, saying: “Like we’re in the studio, and just the things that she says and thinks about. And like her video concepts. I didn’t know that all those video concepts were hers. I’m so proud of her.”
