MØ heads back to her hometown in new phone-friendly video for ‘Nostalgia’

Star says the clip "shows a little piece of my story"

Danish pop star has shared a vertical video for her new single ‘Nostalgia’. Scroll below to watch.

The single marks her first release since last year’s ‘When I Was Young’ EP. The EP came after the record-breaking Major Lazer collaboration, ‘Lean On’, which remains one of the most streamed songs in music history.

MØ released her much-anticipated album ‘No Mythologies to Follow’ back in 2014 and recently embarked on a UK headline tour.

This new vertical clip, which is perfect for watching on phones, sees the star head back to her hometown of Ejlstrup.

“This video is special to me cuz it shows a little piece of my story – my room in my parents house where I grew up and wrote my first song,” MØ says.

“The streets where I used to bike around with my friends, the forest where I would walk around restless and dreamy, my old high school where I had my heart broken for the first time.”

MØ previously shared an intimate lyric video curated by her parents. It featured family snapshots from her childhood and teenage years.

Earlier this year, MØ joined Dua Lipa along with Charli XCX, ALMA and Zara Larsson for an amazing Live Lounge performance of Dua Lipa’s ‘IDGAF’.

‘IDGAF’ is the latest single from the star’s 2017 debut album. Its video was directed by Henry Scholfield, in collaboration with Stromae, and sees “Dua’s softer side in a battle with a cold, empowered alter ego”.

The pop star who’s-who took the track to the Live Lounge, delivering a knock-out rendition of the pop banger.
