Techno star MOBY
led fans in an impromptu sing-along in a BELFAST hotel at the weekend following his show in the city, covering songs by RADIOHEAD, GUNS N’ ROSES
and JANIS JOPLIN.
The vegan star took to the piano in China, a private members bar in the city centre Ten Square Hotel on Saturday (November 16).
Taking requests from the 40-strong crowd, Moby
played Radiohead‘s ‘Creep’, Joplin’s ‘Me And Bobby McGee’ and GNR‘s ‘Sweet Child O’ Mine’.
His 25-minute set also saw him sing ‘Happy Birthday’ for one of the hotel guests and attempt several songs by Irish favourites U2.
“It was great,” a fan told NME.COM. “I think he would have played longer but no-one could remember the verses to songs.”
The star had earlier played in Belfast’s Waterfront Hall.
