Modest Mouse share new song ‘The Best Room’ and delay new album release

'Strangers to Ourselves' is now set for a March 16 release

Modest Mouse have shared a new song entitled ‘The Best Room’ but also delayed the release of their new album.

The band’s new LP ‘Strangers to Ourselves’ was due to come out on March 3 but has now been pushed back two weeks to March 16.

Click above to listen to ‘The Best Room’, which follows ‘Coyotes’ and ‘Lampshades on Fire’, which have already been aired from the new release, which is the group’s first album since 2007’s ‘We Were Dead Before The Ship Even Sank’. Recorded at Ice Cream Party in Portland, it features The Shins‘ James Mercer on backing vocals throughout. The newly released tracklisting is below.
