More artists are added to the bill for March and April next year...

The 2004 line-up for ALL TOMORROW’S PARTIES is starting to take shape, with MOGWAI and Tortoise at the helm.

Next year the annual ‘alternative’s alternative’ takes place over two consecutive weekends, March 26-28 and April 2-4 at Camber Sands in East Sussex. This special fifth birthday year has been dubbed ‘The Director’s Cut’.

Traditionally the festival has been ‘curated’ by a different artist each year. For 2004, selection duties are split six ways, with the acts each putting together a different day.

The first weekend is handled by Mogwai (Friday), Stephen Malkmus (Saturday) and Sonic Youth (Sunday), while three days of the second weekend will be looked after in turn by Cat Power, Kid 606 and ATP founders Barry Hogan and Helen Cottage of Foundation.

As well as the curators themselves, acts that are confirmed so far include Broadcast, Tindersticks, [/a], Erase Errata and [a].

Tickets cost £110 per weekend and include entry to all events as well as chalet accommodation for the weekend. For ticket availability, [url=]click here or call the NME Ticketline on 0870 1 663 663.
