??┬ĘT””>MOGWAI will premiere material from their forthcoming new album at their first UK shows since 2001.

The Scots post-rockers are currently recording their fourth LP, provisionally titled ‘Bag Of Agony’, with producer Tony Doogan in Glasgow. The follow up to 2001’s ‘Rock Action’ is expected in early summer. Guitarist John Cummings has described the new material as “like a wave that never breaks…menacing.”

In other news, Mogwai have provided the music for the new Levis campaign in the US. The first advert went to air during the recent Superbowl. The advert uses the track ‘Summer’, which was released as a single back in 1996, and appears on the band’s ‘Ten Rapid’ compilation.
