Morrissey to play London’s O2 Arena in November

UK gig to come as part of wider European tour

Morrissey will headline London’s O2 Arena in November as part of a wider European tour.

The singer will play in the capital on November 29 with the date being his only scheduled UK gig of 2014 so far. Morrissey fansite True To You has a full list of Morrissey’s European tour dates, which includes performances in Italy, Portugal, Austria, Germany, Poland, Sweden and Denmark.

The tour dates follow a chaotic period in Morrissey’s career in which his latest album, ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’, has been removed from US iTunes and Spotify.

Last week (August 17), the singer claimed he had proof that he had been dropped by his label, after Harvest denied claims that their relationship had ended following the release of the album.

In a statement posted on True To You last week (August 20), the singer detailed his disappointment with Harvest’s marketing decisions, accusing them of not spending money to release proper music videos. Morrissey adds that Harvest “botched” the release of ‘World Peace Is None Of Your Business’.
