Former Smiths man also cuts short his Las Vegas show
Morrissey cancelled a gig on Saturday (December 5), after apparently ‘blowing out his voice’.
The singer, who was playing a show on Friday night (December 4) in Las Vegas, cut the show short after less than hour, which prompted speculation that he took offence at scenes of drunken audience members vomiting and brawling, reports Contact Music.
This led to the following night’s show in California to be scrapped, with the venue telling ticketholders via email that Morrissey had ‘blown his voice’.
This isn’t the first cancellation or cut short show Morrissey has made on his current world tour.
Early on illness forced a number of cancellations, while later on the tour Morrissey collapsed on stage and an audience member threw a drink at the singer, causing the former Smiths frontman to finish shows early.
Morrissey is set to resume his tour tonight (December 7) with a show in Pomona, California.
