Singer pulls another show on doctor's advice
Morrissey has been forced to cancel tomorrow’s (May 28) gig at the London O2 Academy Brixton due to illness.
The singer has already cancelled several shows recently on doctor’s orders after suffering from a throat illness, and has since been advised to pull another gig to aid his recovery, it was explained in a statement.
Morrissey‘s forthcoming shows at the London O2 Academy Brixton on May 29 and 30 are still due to go ahead.
As with the previous cancelled dates, fans with tickets to the May 28 show are advised to hold onto their tickets and await further announcements about possible rescheduled dates.
Despite having to cancel recent shows in Birmingham, London and Salisbury, Morrissey did manage to play at the Manchester Apollo on Friday (May 24), the day of his 50th birthday.
