The indie godfather plays two nights at the Royal Albert Hall...

Indie Godfather MORRISSEY is to play two rare live shows in LONDON in September, his first in the UK for almost three years.

The former Smiths frontman will play the Royal Albert Hall on September 17 and 18, following dates in the US and Japan. Tickets will go on sale for the London shows on Wednesday (August 7).

Morrissey has just rescheduled a number of US dates. He had been due to kick off in Salt Lake City on July 31, but had problems with “immigration hang-ups”, fansite reports. All except three Canadian dates have been moved. The tour will now kick off in Phoenix, Arizona on August 9, and will include three dates as support for Jaguares.
