The shop will sell signed records and clothing
Morrissey is opening an official merchandise shop in Salford later this month.
The pop-up store will be open for three days at Salford Lads Club from Friday 19th August to 21th to coincide with the singer’s appearance at Manchester Arena on the Saturday.
Among the items on sale will be clothing, accessories and signed copies of Morrissey’s records and autobiography.
Earlier this month, Morrissey dismissed the possibility for a future Smiths reunion.
The singer was asked by an Australian news site whether time might have healed the rift between him and former bandmate Johnny Marr.
“It’s no longer a question of time or wounds, but simply that the issue is now so remote that the question doesn’t make sense any more,” he responded.
Morrissey also told News.com.au that there is only one thing left in The Smiths’ vaults that could be put on any future reissues, but he doesn’t own a copy of it.
“Only a cover of Elvis Presley’s ‘A Fool Such As I’,” he said. “I don’t even have a copy of it, but I expect it will spring out one day… when I’m on a life-support machine.”
