Watch Morrissey dance a lot in new ‘Jacky’s Only Happy When She’s Up On The Stage’ video

Song is lifted from new album 'Low In High School'

Morrissey has shared a video for his song ‘Jacky’s Only Happy When She’s Up On The Stage’. Scroll below to watch.

The track features on the former Smiths frontman’s latest solo album ‘Low In High School’, which was released earlier this month. Read the NME review here.

A rendition of the track performed by Morrissey during his BBC 6 Music Maida Vale session appeared to include the chant “Brexit, exit, Brexit, exit”. This doesn’t appear on the studio version though, and Morrissey has denied that the song is a metaphor for Brexit.

In this video for the track, Morrissey sports a shirt-less pinstripe suit and is flanked by an array of dancers. Watch beneath.

‘Low In High School’ is Moz’s 11th solo album and follows on from 2014’s ‘World Peace Is None of Your Business’. It has spawned the singles ‘Spent The Day In Bed’ and ‘I Wish You Lonely’.

Morrissey recently made headlines after appearing to defend Kevin Spacey, saying that he has been “attacked unnecessarily” over sexual assault allegations.

He later seemed to double down on his views in another interview, claiming that sexual harassment could actually be “a pathetic attempt at courtship”.

Morrissey has since vowed to never do another print interview following the controversy, saying: “Unless you see the words form in my mouth and then you see or hear the words come out of my mouth… please, if you don’t see that, I didn’t say them.”
