The Norwegian black metaller's debut will be limited to 850 copies. So it will probably outsell Naomi Campbell's debut novel...
MORTIIS is to release a limited-edition book, ‘SECRETS OF MY KINGDOM’, on July 2.
The gnome-like Norwegian black metaller’s publishing debut will be a 144-page, leather-bound compendium of his prose and lyrics from the last decade, with illustrations from artists including American gothic horror/metal illlustrator Mark Riddick, Juhu Vuorma and Kerry Bartlett, which “depict the fantasy world of Mortiis‘ visions,” according to his publicist.
The book will be limited to 850 copies worldwide, each one signed by the author and packaged with a gold disc version of his 1999 album, ‘The Stargate’.
Prior to the book’s release, excerpts will be posted at www.earache.com.
