Mos Def cancels Glastonbury appearance

'A death in the family' forces the rapper's decision

Mos Def has cancelled his appearance at this year’s Glastonbury festival.

As reports, the rapper has pulled his set on the West Holts stage tonight (June 25) because of a “death in the family”.

Mos Def was also due to perform with Gorillaz tonight (June 25) on the Pyramid Stage along with a string of special guests, including former Velvet Underground man Lou Reed.

NME will be coming live from Glastonbury throughout the weekend. Head to NME.COM/glastonbury for the latest festival news.
