Limp Bizkit‘s Fred Durst covered Motorhead classic ‘Ace Of Spades’ at a recent live show, teaming up with a supergroup featuring Billy Idol and Dave Navarro.

Supergroup Royal Machines performed on New Year’s Eve (December 31) at the El Rey theatre in Los Angeles, joined by the likes of Billy Morrison (The Cult), Josh Freese (Devo), Chris Chaney (Jane’s Addiction), Steve Stevens (Billy Idol) and Mark McGrath (Sugar Rey).

Durst provided vocals for the cover, which you can see in the video below.

Lemmy had passed away a few days earlier on on December 28, following a short battle with cancer. He was aged 70.

Lemmy’s funeral was held in Los Angeles on Saturday night (January 9), with Dave Grohl, Slash and more in attendance.

Speaking at the service, Slash said of Lemmy: “He was such a fucking great example that much of my peers want to be. He was just true to school and had more integrity in one finger than most rock and rollers.”

Following his death, ‘Ace Of Spades’ made it to Number 13 in the UK Singles Chart.
