Ms Banks recites Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’ and talks performing with Little Mix and Nicki Minaj

Ms Banks spoke to NME on the red carpet of the BRIT Awards 2019, where she discussed performing with Little Mix and Nicki Minaj – as well as her dream of working with Dua Lipa. Watch our full video interview with Banks above.

Banks (Nicki Minaj’s favourite rapper) was appearing at the 2019 BRITs to deliver a performance with Little Mix. Speaking to NME on the red carpet (just after she broke her stress ball), the rapper opened up about how the collaboration came about, her upcoming shows with Minaj, and who she’d most like to work with.

“I’m loving what Dua Lipa is doing at the moment; she’s fierce,” said Banks. “She’s got loads of hits, and I love her break-up songs.”

After then reciting all of Dua Lipa’s ‘New Rules’, she then revealed progress on her new mixtape and how she thinks it ‘will connect with a lot more people’.

“I’m going to put out another mixtape,” Ms Banks added. “I feel like they’re more fun. I haven’t done an album yet, that will probably be next year.”
