Mumford & Sons announce autumn UK tour and ticket details

Band also release limited EP under their alter ego The Wedding Band

Mumford and Sons have announced plans for a UK tour in the autumn.

The band are to set to play a six-date jaunt kicking off at Glasgow O2 Academy on October 1, following their recent Glastonbury slot on the John Peel Stage.

To accompany the shows the group are also offering up a limited EP entitled ‘Volume 1’ under their alter ego, The Wedding Band.


The 10-inch release, which is available on in conjunction with the purchase of gig tickets, consists of songs that are regularly heard played out on the band’s tour bus, but very rarely live on stage.

Tickets for the shows go on sale on Wednesday (June 30).
