For the first time in 25 years US album chart has all-UK Top Three
For the first time in over 25 years the three biggest-selling albums in the US are all from British artists.
In between them is former Floetry singer Marsha Ambrosius, whose first solo album ‘Late Nights & Early Mornings’ has debuted at Number Two.
Mumford and Sons are celebrating a very good week indeed in the US chart stakes. ‘Sigh No More’ recently passed the million sales mark in both the UK and USA – the first British album to do so since Coldplay‘s ‘Viva La Vida Or Death And All His Friends’ in 2009.
Adele is having a pretty good week in the UK too. According to midweek sales figures she is set to hold onto the Number Slot in both the UK albums and singles charts on Sunday.
