Mumford & Sons to tour the US on a vintage train

Band gearing up for 'Railroad Revival Tour'

Mumford and Sons are set to tour America on a train for a week in April.

The band, who recently celebrated selling one million albums in both the UK and USA, will travel in a vintage railroad car. They will stop to play six gigs in California, Texas and Louisiana.

The bands will eat, sleep and record music on the train, which consists of 15 vintage railcars from the ’50s and ’60s, pulled by two locomotives.

The bands will play:

San Pedro Ports O’Call Village, California (22)
Chandler Arizona Railway Museum, Arizona (23)
Marfa El Cosmico, Texas (24)
Austin4th and Waller, Texas (26)
New Orleans Woldenberg Park, Louisiana (27)

Meanwhile, Edward Sharpe & The Magnetic Zeros play five shows at London‘s Old Vic Tunnels this week, starting on Wednesday (March 9) and continuing to Sunday.
