Mumford & Sons confirmed to play Portugal’s NOS Alive festival

James Blake, Róisin Murphy and Ben Harper also added to bill

Mumford and Sons are among the latest additions to this year’s NOS Alive festival in Portugal.

The festival, which confirmed Muse as its first headline act last year, has announced a number of new artists today (February 19) including James Blake, Róisin Murphy and Ben Harper.

NOS Alive was formerly known as Optimus Alive and is held in the centre of Lisbon between July 9-11.

Previous artists to have played the festival include Arctic Monkeys, The Libertines, Foals, Depeche Mode, Radiohead, The Cure, Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Smashing Pumpkins, Bob Dylan and Blondie alongside electronic acts and DJs such as The Chemical Brothers, The Prodigy, Justice, Deadmau5 and Simian Mobile Disco.

Tickets for NOS Alive 2015 are onsale here now. A three-day pass plus camping costs £110 while single day passes can be bought for under £50.
