T In The Park is predicted to be mostly warm and sunny. A Met Office spokesperson told NME: “The lead up to T in the Park still sees warm sunny weather for the Kinross area. Both Friday will see sunny spells with temperatures into the mid-twenties – so sun cream needed! Saturday will see a cloudy day but with some sunny spells later in the day. However there is the chance of some light rain early evening.”

Earlier this week, music fans attending the festival were warned about taking fake ecstasy tablets, which have already been linked to the death of seven people.

Rihanna and The Killers will headline the next two nights of T In The Park 2013. Also included in the raft of artists set to appear are Foals, Snoop Dogg and Beady Eye, along with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Dizzee Rascal. My Bloody Valentine will perform at the festival months after releasing their long-awaited new album ‘m b v’.
