Muse to headline War Child Brit Awards concert on February 18

Tickets for the intimate one-off gig in London go on sale this Friday (February 1)

Muse are to headline this year’s War Child Brit Awards concert.

The band will take to the stage at the 02 Shepherd’s Bush Empire on February 18 – two days before this year’s Brit Awards bash takes place. Special guests for the intimate one-off show are still to be announced.

The concert marks the 20th anniversary of the War Child charity, which is receiving a special recognition award at this year’s Brits. Muse follow in the footsteps of Coldplay, The Killers, Blur and Kasabian, who have all performed at War Child’s Brit Awards concert in previous years.

Muse‘s Matt Bellamy said in a statement: “We are proud to have a continuing association with War Child, who have been doing amazing work over the last 20 years. It’s great to see their efforts being recognised at this year’s Brits and we are really looking forward to playing this special show for them.”

Tickets are priced at £50 and go on general sale at 9am this Friday (February 1). O2 pre-sale begins 48 hours earlier, at 9am this Wednesday (January 29). Muse are currently midway through a North American arena tour. They return to the UK in May for a run of four stadium dates.
