'Hysteria' hangs on for a second successive week...

MUSE have managed to hang on to Number One spot in this week’s NME chart.

The West Country boys’ ’Hysteria’ has staved off competition from the White Stripes, and last weeks Number Two, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, to keep the country in a frenzy for a second week.

Last week’s new entry, London-based four-piece Million Dead, have shifted ’I Am The Party’, from Number Six, to the dizzy heights of Number Two.

This week’s new entry White Stripes, ‘I Opt Out’ sneaked in at Number Six.
