MUSE have headed out to LA to finish their third album – with an autumn release on the cards.
The band and Cave In producer Rich Costey are currently finishing tracks, laying down vocals and mixing the album, which is tentatively titled ‘The Smallprint’.
Museand Costey have been working on the follow-up to 2001’s ‘Origin Of Symmetry’ in Saw Mills in Cornwall and London’s Air Studios and also at the Grouse Lodge in Ireland.
Musefrontman Matt Bellamy told NME.COM that the new album will be “more uplifting” than the band’s previous two albums.
He added: “The stuff we’re doing on this album is going to surprise a lot of people. The music is going in a different direction to what we’ve done before.”
