My Bloody Valentine to remaster classic albums

Kevin Shields has another go at 'Loveless' and 'Isn't Anything'

The newly reunited My Bloody Valentine are to remaster and re-release their classic albums Isn’t Anything’ and ‘Loveless’ next month.

The band’s leader Kevin Shields has remastered both albums, which originally came out in 1988 and 1991 respectively. They will be reissued on June 16.

Both new versions will feature sleevenotes from Shields, while ‘Loveless’ will come as a two-disc edition featuring both a reworking of the original album and a version created from the original analogue tapes.

Meanwhile the band, who have not toured since 1992, are set for a series of comeback UK shows. They play:

Glasgow Barrowland (July 2, 3)
