My Bloody Valentine to headline Festival No. 6

The band will join Manic Street Preachers and Chic at the Welsh bash

My Bloody Valentine are set to headline Festival No. 6.

The show will be the band’s only England and Wales festival date of the summer, and will see them performing in Portmeirion alongside the previously announced likes of Manic Street Preachers, Chic, Everything Everything, AlunaGeorge, Neon Neon, Tricky and James Blake.

Festival No. 6 won the award for Best New Festival at the UK Festival Awards and was also named Best Small Festival at the NME Awards earlier this year.

My Bloody Valentine have also been added to the T In The Park bill. The festival, which takes place in Balado, Kinross between July 12-14 will be headlined this year by Mumford & Sons, Rihanna and The Killers. Also appearing are Foals, Haim, Phoenix, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Calvin Harris and Beady Eye, along with Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Dizzee Rascal and Kraftwerk.
