My Chemical Romance reveal the hidden secrets behind their world conquering third album ‘The Black Parade’ in this week’s NME (on newsstands nationwide from November 8).
Frontman Gerard Way gives the full inside story on the mysterious Patient, MCR‘s theatrical alter egos, the man behind their concept album, their gothic bandmaster uniform and Liza Minnelli‘s guest spot on ‘Mama’.
Speaking about their collaboration with the child of Hollywood royalty Way said: “To me, Liza‘s was the only voice that could have portrayed Mother War. Someone very strong, someone that had loved and lost, someone that had been through so much in her life and survived. There was no-one that could beat her.”
Now NME wants to hear your views on MCR‘s all conquering third album.
Send us your lyrical interpretations and mini reviews of your favourite tracks from ‘The Black Parade’ to news@nme.com.
Simply email us with MCR as the subject, with your views on your favourite songs from the record, plus your name age, and if possible, a photograph.
The best comments will feature in a future issue of NME along with Way and co’s track-by-track guide to the album.
