My Chemical Romance talk ‘Danger Days…’ film – video

Band chat at Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony

My Chemical Romance have chatted in a new NME video interview about how they reckon their ‘Danger Days: The True Lives of the Fabulous Killjoys’ album could convert to the big screen.

The band were talking at last night’s (February 23) Shockwaves NME Awards ceremony. They won the Best International Band and Best Video awards and also performed at the O2 Academy Brixton bash.

When asked if they’d like to see their latest album made into a film, Iero said: “This world we’ve created, we kind of feel like we’re not done living in yet. I think it’d translate really well to film.”

Way also chatted about the US band’s affiliation with the UK.

“They’ve [UK fans] always made us feel like this was actually our home,” he said. “We grew up loving so much British music so it’s always felt like there was something there.”
