There were also jubilations for best newcomers, Nelly Furtado and Creed, and Ricky Martin, who opened the two-hour shebang with a version of ‘Loaded’, and was crowned Favourite Male Pop Artist.
Among the performers at the awards, which took place on Tuesday night (April 10), were Creed, who sang ‘Higher’, Joe featuring Mystikal who sang ‘Stutter’, and Leann Rimes, who sang ‘Can’t Fight The Moonlight’, which also took the Favourite Song From A Movie gong.
