Nas announces listening party ahead of new Kanye West-produced album

The record - which has been made during West's current creative streak in Jackson Hole, Wyoming - will come out tomorrow (June 15)

Nas will host a listening party for his new Kanye West-produced album in New York City tonight (June 14).

The rap icon will release his twelfth studio album tomorrow, which will be his first record since 2012’s ‘Life Is Good’. Executively produced by West, a tracklist for the 7-song album was shared by West from his Wyoming studio yesterday.

A party for the album’s premiere – which follows similar events staged by G.O.O.D. MUSIC for the arrivals of albums by Pusha-T (‘Daytona’), West (‘ye’) and Kid Cudi/West (‘Kids See Ghosts’) – will be held later tonight in Nas’ hometown of Queens, New York.

Elliott Wilson, the founder of Rap Radar and former Editor-in-Chief of XXL Magazine, revealed that an ‘album listening event’ would be taking place today – although details about timings and the exact location of the party have yet to be confirmed.

‘Not For Radio’
‘Adam And Eve’
‘Simple Things’

The release of Nas’ new album is expected to be the penultimate work to emerge from West’s studio sessions in Wyoming, with the rapper having also produced a Teyana Taylor solo album – which is set to come out next week.
