St Vincent, Ryan Adams and Spoon to headline Neil Young’s Bridge School Benefit concert

Young reveals the line-up for his annual Bridge School fundraiser

St Vincent, Ryan Adams and Spoon will headline Neil Young’s 2015 Bridge School Benefit concert.

The annual concert hosted by Young will run for two days, October 24-25, and will take place at Shoreline Ampitheatre in Mountain View, California. Proceeds from the concert go to the Bridge School, which assists children who have severe physical impairments and complex communication needs.

As reported by Consequence of Sound, other notable acts on the line-up include Dixie Chicks, Sheryl Crow and Gary Clark Jr. Neil Young will also perform with his new collaborators Promise Of The Real, the four-piece band led by Willie Nelson’s son Lukas Nelson.

Pearl Jam were initially listed on the concert website, but have subsequently been removed. It is unknown whether or not they will perform.

Last year’s Bridge School Benefit concert saw Florence + The Machine make their live return, performing an acoustic version of ‘Dog Days Are Over’ in the setlist. The 2014 concert also saw the likes of Band Of Horses, Norah Jones and Tom Jones perform live, with Pearl Jam and Soundgarden reuniting their supergroup Temple Of The Dog for the event.

In 2013 the star-studded line-up included guests Arcade Fire, Jack Johnson, Jim James, Elvis Costello, Jenny Lewis, Queens Of The Stone Age and Crosby, Stills and Nash.
