The jaunt includes two nights in London...

NEIL YOUNG has added three UK dates to his acoustic tour of Europe in the spring.

The veteran star will play London Hammersmith Apollo on May 18 and 19, and Manchester Apollo on May 21.

Young has not toured solo since 1999, when he embarked on a 38-date North American trek that featured performances of nearly 70 different songs. Young will follow the Euro jaunt with a tour of North America this summer backed by a band.

Young has still to rearrange the full band show he cancelled at London Brixton Academy last May due to illness.

Stockholm Cirkus (April 22)

Oslo Konserthus (23)

Bergen Grieghallen (25)

Hamburg CCH (29)

Berlin Tempodrom (30)

Frankfurt Alte Oper (May 1)
