NEIL YOUNG is to embark on an acoustic tour of Europe in the spring.
The veteran star has not toured solo since 1999, when he embarked on a 38-date North American trek that featured performances of nearly 70 different songs. Young
will follow the jaunt with a tour of North America this summer backed by a band, Billboard reports.
Curiously, the scheduled shows do not contain a UK date, even though Young has still to rearrange the show he cancelled at London Brixton Academy last May due to illness.
The dates are as follows:
Stockholm Cirkus (April 22)
Oslo Konserthus (23)
Bergen Grieghallen (25)
Hamburg CCH (29)
Berlin Tempodrom (30)
Frankfurt Alte Oper (May 1)
Milan Teatro Smeraldo (3)
Rome Auditorium S. Cecilia (4)
Stuttgart Liederhalle (7)
Hanover Kuppelsaal (9)
Dublin Vicar Street (11)
Paris Palais des Congress (24)
