The star's Brixton Academy date is set to be rescheduled...

Neil Young cancelled his show in LONDON last night (May 22) because of flu, it has been revealed.

The veteran was due to play the second of two nights at the Brixton Academy when illness struck. A spokesperson for Neil Young said this morning that fans should hold onto tickets, as a rescheduled show was being planned for later in the year. He released a brief statement this afternoon which says: “To my friends, I am so sorry that I couldn’t perform the second show at Brixton. I hope to see you when I return to Brixton, Neil Young

Neil Young has been on the road promoting new solo album ‘Are You Passionate?’ since mid-March following completion of a large-scale US tour with Crosby, Stills And Nash. It is unclear if any other upcoming dates will be affected by his illness.
