Tom Odell, Phosphorescent and Flyte will also perform on the bill at Barclaycard British Summer Time Hyde Park

Neil Young and Crazy Horse will headline a huge outdoor show at London’s Hyde Park on Saturday July 12 next year.

They’ll be joined at Barclaycard British Summer Time by special guests The National, Tom Odell, Caitlin Rose, Phosphorescent and Flyte.

Speaking about the gig Tom Odell said: “I’m so excited to be supporting one of my all time heroes, a man that has influenced my music, and so much music that I listen to today. I’m psyched!”

Earlier this year Neil Young and Crazy Horse cancelled some UK gigs after guitarist Frank Poncho Sampedro sustained an injury.

Tickets go on general sale for the Hyde Park show on Friday December 13.

McBusted – the supergroup featuring members of McFly and Busted – will also play one of the Summertime gigs on Sunday July 6.

This year’s British Summer Time series of gigs were headlined by artists including Bon Jovi and The Rolling Stones.

AEG Live was awarded the five-year contract to create this event in Hyde Park towards the end of 2012.
