The rapper’s collaboration with Tim McGraw, ‘Over And Over’ is the top selling single this week, knocking ‘Get Right’ to number two.

And in a fantastic week for alternative music, two of the bands from this year’s ShockWaves NME Awards Tour have scored new entries inside the top ten.


The Futureheads are in at five with ‘Oh My God’ while Doves also score their first major hit with ‘Hounds Of Love’ going straight in at eight.

Elsewhere, Girls Aloud are new at four with ‘Wake Me Up’ and Charlotte Hatherley is new at 31 with ‘Bastardo’.

Meanwhile, Scissor Sisters are a new entry at number one on the album chart, with their third collection ‘Some Cities’ knocking [a][/a] to two.
