And on the album chart, The Libertines have delivered on expectations with their eponymous second album going straight in at number one. The next highest new entry comes from Bjork with ‘Medulla’ at nine.
Elsewhere on the singles chart, Embrace continue their extraordinary comeback, with the Chris Martin-penned ‘Gravity’ a new entry at seven.
Meanwhile, Armand Van Helden is in at 15 with ’My My My’ with Kanye West one space lower with ’Jesus Walks’.
The Killers are in at 18 with ’All These Things That I’ve Done’, while The Prodigy’s comeback tune ’Girls’ enters at 19.
The Thrills’ new single ’Whatever Happened To Corey Haim’ is new at 22.
