Pop Idol Will Young retains top spot on album countdown...

Rap superstar Nelly has gone straight to the top of the UK single charts tonight (October 20) with ‘Dilemma’, his duet with Destiny Child’s Kelly Rowland.

Last week’s number one from Las Ketchup drops to number two.

Meanwhile, south London’s answer to Outkast, Big Brovaz, chart at number three with ‘Nu Flow’, two ahead of returning Irish star Samantha Mumba at five with ‘I’m Right Here’. Welsh chart heros Manic Street Preachers come back at six with ‘There By The Grace Of God, the first of two new tracks on their greatest hits set.

Veteran LL Cool J scores another hit at seven with ‘Luv U Better’ while Badly Drawn Boy debuts at nine with ‘You Were Right’.

With little movement on down the chart, the next highest new entry comes from crossover country star Faith Hill at 25 with ‘Cry’, four places above Doves at 29 with ‘Caught By The River’. Entries on down from Nakatomi, Syleena Johnson and PPK make up the rest of the new names on the top 40.

Will Young remains at the top of the album chart for a second week with ‘From Now On’. Rolling Stones, Elvis, Pink, Nelly and Coldplay retain their places on the top 10, while Fleetwood Mac debut at seven with a greatest hits collection, two places above the new Kylie, Holly Valance with ‘Footprints’.
